![]() Adults who come to my practice bring a variety of concerns including grief, sadness, worry, feelings of isolation, marital or interpersonal problems, divorce problems, parenting issues, problems with anger, problems with creativity, substance abuse issues, questions about vocation or identity, and more. My training as a Jungian Analyst has given me a particularly strong ability to work in an open, generative way with adults who are facing questions of meaning in their lives that include the dimensions of conscious and unconscious experience, the relation of the individual to the collective, and the integration of dreams, as well as creative and spiritual processes. I also have many years of experience helping separated and divorced parents who want to develop or improve their co-parental relationship. In addition, I see other psychotherapists for supervision and consultation. Some adults come individually while others come as a couple for help with relationship problems. Some attend a relatively small number of sessions. Others work on things for a significant length of time. Some come once a week, while others attend several hours weekly. The duration of the therapy, frequency of sessions, and other matters are important issues to be decided together and in relation to the needs of the individual. Children and adolescents I see have difficulty at school or home with behavior, peer relationships and learning. Some are fearful, some sad, others angry or confused. Some are in trouble with drugs or alcohol. Some have experienced significant loss related to adoption, divorce, illness or death of loved ones. Other have endured neglect or abuse. |
